Pudina Paratha


Ingredients :

  1. Wheat Flour - 2 cups
  2. Besan - 2 Tblsps
  3. Pudina/Mint Leaves - 1/4 cup
  4. Cilantro Leaves - 1/2 cup
  5. Yogurt - 1/2 cup
  6. Red chilli Powder - 3 tsp
  7. Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
  8. Dhane Jeere Powder - 1/4 tsp
  9. Amchoor Powder - 1/2 tsp
  10. Black Salt- 1/2 tsp
  11. Salt - Per taste 
  12. Sugar - a pinch
  13. Water - if required
  14. Ghee - 5 Tblsp
  15. Oil - to roast the parathas

Instructions:

  1. Mix  wheat flour, besan, chopped Mint and cilantro leaves and all other spices. 
  2. Add half of the yogurt and start kneading. Add more yogurt as required. The goal is to add minimal water and use yogurt to knead the dough. 
  3. Add 2 Tblsp oil and knead dough. Add water if required. 
  4. Let the dough rest for 10 mins.
  5. Roll into parathas. 
  6. Apply some oil on a tava, roast the parathas on both sides and finally apply ghee to the paratha. 
  7. Serve hot with a side of pickle n yogurt !
