Ingredients:
- Potatoes : 4
- Onion: 1 big / 2 medium
- Green Chillies: 5
- Cilantro : 3 Tblsp
- Garlic: 4
- Salt: per taste
- Besan : 1 cup
- Red chilli powder : 1 tsp
- Salt: per taste
- Eno : 1/2 tsp (optional)
- Water: As required
- Oil: For frying
Instructions:
- Boil potatoes, peel skin and mash .
- Make a paste of green chillies, cilantro, garlic by adding 1 tsp water.
- Chop onions.
- Mix chopped onions, mashed potatoes and chilli garlic paste. Add salt as required.
- In a bowl take besan, add red chilli powder, salt. Add water as required to make a runny batter. Add Eno to make the batter light.
- Heat oil in a kadhai.
- Make small balls of potato- onion stuffing, dip in the besan batter and deep fry on mesium-high heat until golden brown .
- Serve hot with garlic chutney n bread/ paav or with coconut chutney.
