Fried Rice


Ingredients:

  1. Basmati Rice : 1 cup
  2. Water : 2 cups 
  3. Green Beans : 4 Tblsps
  4. Carrot : 4 Tblsps
  5. Green Peas : 4 Tblsps
  6. Green Chilli Sauce: 4 Tsp
  7. Salt : Per taste
  8. Black Pepper Powder : 1/2 tsp
  9. Oil : 2 tsp

Instructions:

  1. Pressure cook Basmati rice. Use a little less than usual water and cook for less time, so grains are separate and rice is not mushy.
  2. Spread the rice on a plate and apply oil so the grains separate.
  3. In a wok, take some oil, add finely chopped veggies: green beans and carrots and saute.
  4. Add green peas and green chilli sauce and fry for 2-3 mins
  5. Now add the cooked rice, salt, black pepper powder and mix everything well.
  6. Cover and let it cook for a couple of mins. 
  7. Serve hot with any Chicken/Veg gravy or with Indo Chinese Manchurian Gravy or just eat plain !!
